Kluge’s Guest Farm restaurant, „Gavamuuly“, (a Luganda saying „strength comes from food“) has an a la carte menu with daily specials. The cuisine is farm-based with fresh milk from the farm, home-grown vegetables and freshly baked bread. We do not want to boast, but of course we are proud about the fact that travellers who have been at our place, praise the food as one oft he best in the country.
Conferences and Events
The serene environment is conducive for seminars or retreats (up to 40 participants) that seek progressive outcomes. Fort Portal is a major hub for tourists on their way to the most breathtaking highlights in Uganda, the „Pearl of Africa“. About 320 km west of Kamapala, the town is located at the Foothills of the Rwenzori mountains that give a most beautiful sunset silhouette by enjoying your sundowner drink at Kluges Guest Farm.
The Kibaale Forest Reserve nearby is home to the largest family of chimpanzees in the world. It’s just a two hours ride south to the famous Queen Elizabeth National Park. And on the same time Fort Portal is the ideal stopover for all travelers on their way to or from the Murchison Falls National Park, just a day‘s trip in the north.
